Why Teach?
Hello everyone! My name is Payton Jones and I am planning on being an elementary school teacher. I gained my love for learning from a very young age. It then made me realize that I wanted to not only learn to my greatest ability but also to teach children to be able to do the same. I remember one of the very first shows I watched as a child being Magic School Bus. Ms. Frizzle inspired me to become the same eccentric teacher that everyone knows and loves even today! Another inspiration for teaching was gained through my mother. She taught almost every grade and seeing her make connections was wonderful. My mom had this ability to spark a passion for learning in anyone she met. I give her a lot of credit for pushing me in my education and encouraging every aspect of learning. I am not really sure if I have any set goals for teaching at this time. I just want to be able to get in the classroom and spark the fondness for learning that I have in my fut...
